In honor of Fire Prevention Week (October 6-12, 2024), Alice N. Stroud Elementary teamed up with the Stanislaus Consolidated Fire Protection District to teach our students life-saving fire safety tips! From learning what to do when the smoke alarm goes off to mastering the STOP, DROP, & ROLL method, Stroud TK-6th graders got hands-on experience in how to stay safe in case of a fire at home.
Highlights included:
Learning about two exit points from the house
Touring the fire truck and asking all their burning questions!
Watching some brave students demonstrate fire safety techniques
And of course, Principal Cline climbing the firetruck ladder!
